Air France to launch Tel Aviv-Marseilles flights from September 5
Air France recently announced it will be launching its new flights services between the Israeli capital Tel Aviv and prominent French city Marseilles in September this year.
The airline in a statement said that Air France flights on Tel Aviv-Marseilles route will be launched from September 5, 2012. The airline will be operating flights on this route with the help of a 178-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
The passengers are being offered Air France flights tickets on the new route starting $370. The flights between these two cities will be operated thrice weekly on Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Earlier, the airline launched flights between Tel Aviv and Nice in April this year. According to Air France, the addition of Marseilles as a direct destination from Israel is part of the airline’s new strategy to add over 50 new routes between France and other Mediterranean countries.
The airline stated that it will be operating eight A380 aircrafts between Paris and seven cities across the world as part of its summer program. The cities include Los Angeles, New York, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Montreal, Washington and Singapore.
