Baggage
All passengers are permitted to carry on one piece of hand luggage and one small personal item on their LAN Airlines flights. However, the maximum allowed weight for the hand luggage is 17lbs in Economy and 35lbs in Premium Economy or Premium Business Classes. For flights to and from the United States, free checked baggage allowance is two bags for Economy Class passengers and three for Premium Economy and Premium Business Class passengers. Each bag may be a maximum of 50 lbs.
