Baggage
On Malaysian Airlines flights to and from North and South America, all passengers are permitted two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, regardless of cabin class. Maximum weight per piece is 70lbs for First and Business Class travelers and 50lbs for Economy Class. Carryon baggage allowance is two pieces of hand luggage in First and Business Classes, and one in Economy. One additional small personal item, such as a pocketbook, briefcase, laptop bag, or overcoat, is also permitted for each class.
