recently announced the launch of its new flight service to Entebbe, Baku and Tbilisi this winter. The airline will also increase its flight frequency to few Saudi Arabian destinations this summer.
The Doha-based carrier will operate a daily flight service from 2nd November 2011 to Entebbe, Uganda and from 30th November 2011 to Baku onto Tbilisi. With this launch Qatar Airways will become the only full-service Gulf carrier to operate flights to the capital of Azerbaijan.
The airline will operate its Airbus A380 aircrafts, which will be configured with 12 business class seats and 132 coach class seats.
From 14th July 2011, the airline will also introduces new flight service to the Holy City of Medina and will increase its flight frequency to Saudi Arabian destinations from 35 weekly flights to 60 weekly. It will double its daily flight service to Riyadh and Jeddah from 1st June 2011 and will also increase the flight frequency from 21 flights to 28 flights per week.
The national airline recently launched its 100th destination Aleppo and is also planning to operate flights to Shiraz, Venice and Montreal in June, Kolkata in July, Sofia in September, and Oslo in October.
