AirTran Starts Nonstop Flights between Austin and Cabo

AirTran airline in a recent announcement declared that it will soon start flying between Austin and Cabo San Lucas. The airline plans to add this new nonstop flight in their schedule from June 4, 2013.

Spokesman of AirTran said that we at AirTran are happy to offer this direct flight service to the people of Cabo San Lucas. He further said that this with this new route our passengers be now be able to see and explore the mesmerizing locales of Cabo.

To celebrate the launch of this new service, AirTran is offering cheap flights between the two cities. Passengers can now book their tickets between Austin and Cabo staring at $228* one-way fares, including all taxes and fees. Discounted fares are available until April 26, 2013. Travel dates valid are from June 4 through August 10, 2013. Other terms and conditions are applicable.

Ethiad Starts Business Class Flights to Belgrade

Etihad Airways, national airline for UAE announced that it will fly nonstop direct flights to Belgrade, Serbia's capital. The airline will be offering business class tickets on this route. With this new service, the airline will offer millions of Serbians living across the globe better flight connectivity to Serbia.

Etihad from June 15, 2013 will operate this nonstop service between Abu Dhabi and Belgrade. The airline will make use of Airbus A319s on this route. This two cabin aircraft will offer 90 Coral Economy Class tickets and 16 Pearl Business Class tickets on this route.

James Hoga, CEO Etihad said that we are proud to announce this new service between Abu Dhabi and Belgrade. This service would not have been possible without the help of Jat Airways, our codeshare partner. he further said this route will not only cater to the growing travel needs between Serbia and Abu Dhabi, but also in the US and Australia, as this is where a lot of Serbian national live.

Emirates Now Flies To Stockholm

Emirates Airline recently announced that it will start flying to Stockholm from September 4, 2013. They will be operating daily flights between Dubai and Stockholm. This new service contributes towards the ongoing Scandinavian operations to Copenhagen.

Emirates said that it has placed the timing of this route in such a manner, that passengers planning to take connecting flights, to or from Dubai will find it convenient. Flight EK157 will leave Dubai at 7.15 AM and reach Stockholm by 12 noon and EK158 will leave from Stockholm at 1.55PM and reach Dubai by 10.25PM.

Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts operation on this sector will offer passengers 354 air tickets under three categories.  There will be eight First Class Cabins, 42 Business Class seats and 304 Economy Class seats. With this new service, Emirates becomes the only airline to offer direct flights between Sweden and Dubai. At present Qatar flies daily non direct flights between the two cities.

Passengers flying to Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad from Washing DC can book their air tickets under this offer and make great savings. Washington DC Gets a New Business Class Lounge

Following the successful launch of its daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Washington DC, Etihad Airways now launches its premium lounge at the Dulles International Airport. Situated next to Terminal A of the airport, the lounge offers elite passengers direct admission to their aircrafts.

Located in 483 square meters of space, this premium lounge is open to passengers flying on first and business class tickets.  Facilities like entertainment zone, Wi-Fi connectivity, apple gadgets, sumptuous food and both buffet and ala-carte dining options are few of the many facilities offered to its guests by Etihad. This lounge is a part of the $50 million investment plan, which the airline aims to spend over the period of next 12 months, to increase the count of such plush lounges across its network.

Qatar Offers Connectivity to Onboard Passengers

Qatar Airlines will soon start offering Wi-Fi and Mobile signals to passengers flying on its Airbus A350 and A380 series. The airline has collaborated with On Air, global IT solutions providers for this facility. With this 150 Qatar aircrafts will extend superb connectivity facilities to passengers.

On Air services will allow passengers to make calls using GSM or the Wi-Fi network and use their gadgets to surf internet, send emails and likes. As far as the charges are concerned, passengers will be charged same as they are charged for their international roaming.

CEO of Qatar, Akbar Al Baker said that we have been extending this facility to our passengers for last three years on our B787s and A320s. He further said that passengers with business class air tickets have in specifically been using On Air services on their flights. And keeping this trend in mind they are happy to extend this service on more aircrafts.

All New Qantas Premium Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport

Qantas has finally unveiled its new lounge located at Singapore airport. This lounge is a part of Qantas plan to push Singapore as its hub. This lounge replaces the earlier Qantas lounge working in collaboration with BA for business and first class travelers.

The all new Singapore lounge can accommodate 460 clients. It is loaded with several technology pods, 20 shower stations and come with a huge 80 inch television screens across the lounge. Chef Neil Perry had been assigned to specially design the menu. Clients at this lounge will be able to experience food designed keeping in mind the local flavors and cuisines.

this all new premium lounge is open to Frequent flyers belonging to Platinum and Gold category, Platinum One and business class travelers, Qantas Club members and qualifying Oneworld clients.

Jet2 Resumes Cheap Flights from Belfast International Airport

Jet2 airline announced today that it has resumed its operation from Belfast International Airport. The airline due to concerns over maintenance work has lifted its temporary ban in just 2 days.

On April 8, 2013 Jet2 has made an announcement that it will not fly from Aldergrove as it has great safety concerns in context to the maintenance work going on the airport’s main runway. Due to which its aircrafts endured issues pertaining to engine.

Only after clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority, the airline has decided to resume its cheap flights from Belfast International airport. As per a spokesman Jet2 flights are operating in full swing using the alternate runway of the airport. He said all our flights are back on track and we are using the substitute North/South runway for all our arrivals and departures.

Emirates Flies Nonstop To New York From Milan

Emirates is adding new nonstop route between Malpensa Airport, Milan and New York JFK from October 1, 2013. This will be Emirates first ever route between Europe and US since it had discontinued operating its Hamburg-New York service, back in 2008.

With one daily non-stop flight between Milan and New York, the airline make use of Boeing 777-300ER jet to operate this route and will offer a total of 360 air tickets to passengers.  In all Milan-JFK route will have 310 economy seats, 42 business class seats and eight first class suites.

Even though Emirates will be competing against three other airlines on this route, it is confident to steal the show. Tim Clark, President for Emirates Airline said that they will stand out amongst other competitors purely on the basis of service that they will be offering to their passengers. He further said that they are the only airline on this route to offer a true First Class Experience on nonstop Milan-JFK service.
