These geographical marvels augment the natural beauty of the place considerably. A wide array of protected areas and national parks is the highlight of this destination. Besides several scenic attractions, people can also explore the destination and know more about the culture of the place.

Palmares Public Festival is one of the well known events held at this destination. Carnival, music, dances, fun and excitement are the highlights of this event. Bloodless bull fights are another key highlight of this event. People loudly cheer bull fighters and enjoy the sport thoroughly.

Wonderful parades and processions can be witnessed at Carnival of Puntarenas. This is week filled with a lot of exciting activities in which locals, as well as tourists, enjoy to their heart’s content. Oxcart Parade is another event that is visited by the tourists. Cars that are colorfully painted are pulled by oxen after taking blessings from the priest. Cape Town - Culturally rich destination!

South Africa’s second largest city, Cape Town is one of the popular destinations in the world. It is South Africa’s legislative capital besides being the capital of Western Cape Province. Cape Winelands, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek are some of the popular tourist attractions. The destination has been blessed with a wide array of natural attractions. Besides these attractions, the culture of the place also attracts tourists. Throughout the year, many events there are organized at this destination.

Nature enthusiasts can visit Cape Town Flower and Garden Show where they can see a wide array of flowers creating a riot of colors. This is an annual show that is hosted at Lourensford Wine Estate. Fitness and sports enthusiasts can participate in Two Oceans Marathon that is held on Easter Saturday annually. They can join Ultra Marathon or Half Marathon that are 35 miles and 13 miles respectively as per their level of fitness and capability. There are fun races also such as 56 meters Nappy Dash to a walk or run for 5 miles. A lot of excitement can be seemed amongst the participants in this event.

Cape Town Jazz Festival is another happening event that is organized at this destination. Jazz enthusiasts from far and wide areas come here to listen to melodious rendition. Minstrel Carnival can also be attended by the visitors coming here, that entails marches spanning the whole city and culminating at Green Point Stadium. Summer Sunset concerts, Summer Art Festivals and many other events are also organized in the city.

Delta Air Lines seasonal Prague-New York JFK service resumes

Delta Air Lines recently announced the resumption of its seasonal nonstop flights between Prague’s Vaclav Havel International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The seasonal flights between Prague and New York recommenced on May 25, 2013. The airline will operate daily flights between the two destinations throughout the peak summer season. The flights on Prague-New York route would be operated with the help of a Boeing 767-300 aircraft configured with 209 seats in conjunction with Czech Airlines.

The customers booking business class tickets and traveling in BusinessElite cabin would be offered original wine selections by Delta Air Lines’ Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. The customers would also be provided innovative food offerings on board their business class flights.

In addition to these, Delta Air Lines’ BusinessElite cabins would also feature on-demand personal in-seat entertainment boasting more than 20 first-run and popular classic movies, numerous television programs, music titles and a suite of video games.

New codeshare pact between Air France and Cyprus Airways

Air France recently announced it has signed a new codeshare agreement with Cyprus Airways enhancing relationship between the two carriers.

The new codeshare pact between Air France and Cyprus Airways would allow customers of both the carriers to book air tickets at competitive rates and seamless connections to various destinations.

With the new codeshare arrangement, Air France would be able to put its flight code on Cyprus Airways, and Cyprus Airways would also be permitted to place its flight code on Air France on a reciprocal basis.

Air France in a statement said it will be offering Cyprus Airways flights on Athens-Rhodes, Athens-Heraklon, Larnaka-Athens and Larnaca-Paris routes. The customers booking Air France flights would also benefit from connections at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport, to and from Cyprus.

The airline also stated that Air France flights between Paris and Athens would also be sold to the customers by Cyprus Airways.

Allegiant Air rolls out Dodge High Fares campaign this summer

Allegiant Air recently announced it will be unveiling a new advertising campaign this summer. The airline has named this as “Dodge High Fares!” campaign and has appropriately challenged its customers to Dodge High Fares!

The airline in a statement said that the new advertising campaign would be broadcast on television and radio. The customers have known Allegiant Air flights to be cheap with ultra-low fares and exceptional travel deals.

According to Allegiant Air, the Dodge High Fares advertising campaign would be complemented during the summer months of July and August with dodgeball tournaments across the United States in several of the cities where Allegiant Air currently serves.

Rich Winiarski, Allegiant Travel Company Vice President of Marketing, said that the airline is looking forward to a great summer ahead, taking the campaign into the airline’s hometown communities with fresh advertising, engaging dodgeball tournaments and more.

Multiple cheap flights options now for Alaska-Iceland travel

With the launch of Icelandair flights to Anchorage from Reykjavik last week, the U.S. and European tourists have now got multiple cheap flights options to travel in either of the destinations.

Apart from Icelandair, other carriers like Virgin America and JetBlue Airways have also started offering services to Alaska, thus providing more and more options to customers seeking to buy cheap tickets for their travel.

Media reports quoting travel analysts said that the introduction of flights between Iceland and Alaska by multiple carriers have brought in healthy competition helping to keep the airfares relatively low. This is also proving to be a great opportunity for travelers to take the best advantage of the latest offerings and travel cheap in either of the destinations.

The reports further said that the launch of several new flights to Alaska has also given a major boost to the tourism industry offering European tourists much quicker and cheaper options to get to Alaska.

Malaysia Airlines begins daytime service to Mumbai June 3

Malaysia’s national flag carrier Malaysia Airlines recently announced the increase of its frequency between Kuala Lumpur and Mumbai. The frequency increase will be effective from June 3, 2013.

The airline in a statement said that it will include one additional service on Kuala Lumpur-Mumbai route and start offering a daytime service as well. With the addition of a daytime service, the airline will now be operating a total of 12 flights every week between the two cities.

Malaysia Airlines has been offering service on Kuala Lumpur-Mumbai route since September 2012. The airline said that the new daytime service is being included because of the growing demand from the market.

The airline said that the passengers can now take the maximum advantage of competitive pricing that it is currently offering on the route.
 
Malaysia Airlines further stated that its customers booking business class tickets for travel between Kuala Lumpur and Mumbai would be allowed free checked-in baggage of 40 kg on board their flights. The customers traveling in Economy Class would be allowed free checked-in baggage of 30 kg.
