Cathay Pacific Airways will be coming up with a new and more simplified method for calculating extra baggage charges for flights to all destinations falling under the network with effect for tickets issued on/after Dec’ 2010.

In order to make transparent and fair calculations and to simplify the handling charges for extra baggage charge, the charge will be in accordance with a system of Travel Zones against the exiting extra baggage charges. This would also apply to the special baggage. The charges could be accessed through the website.

The new method will help the passengers to calculate the exact amount that could be charged for the baggage.
