The aircraft manufacturer giant Boeing recently announced at the biennial Indian air show in Bangalore that there would be a further delay in the delivery of 787 aircraft to
Air India. The company said that the first 787 Dreamliner aircrafts would be delivered to Air India in the fourth quarter of 2011.
The delivery of the first 787 aircraft was due in the month of April 2011, which was then postponed to June 2011. This further delay in the delivery will further make Air India entitled to compensation by Boeing.
