Boeing recently unveiled the new generation 747-8 jumbo intercontinental aircraft sporting a striking red-orange livery at its factory in Everett, Seattle.
Around 10,000 guests were invited to the event ceremony that took place Sunday evening Pacific Standard Time.
, the launched customer of the aircraft, said that the aircraft will be configured with 386 seats in three classes.
The 747-800, widely known as 747-8 Intercontinental or 747-8I, is the world’s longest passenger aircraft, and is longer than its predecessor 747-400 and Airbus A340-600 by 5.6 meter and one meter respectively.
Boeing spokesperson said that the one-off Sunrise livery "honors many key Boeing customers whose cultures recognize these colors as symbols of prosperity and good luck".
