Korean Air recently announced that it will cancel its order of Boeing Dreamliner 787-800 aircraft and will acquire its new model 787-900.
The airline previously placed the order for 787-800 aircrafts that were to be delivered by 2012, but recently decided to switch over to the more fuel efficient B787-900 aircrafts, which will be delivered in 2016.
The airline said the new A330-200 aircraft will minimize help in covering the traffic until the delivery of new 787-900 carriers. Currently the airline owns six A330-200 aircrafts in its fleet.
