Here’s an exciting offer announced by Italy’s national flag carrier Alitalia for its frequent flyer program MilleMiglia members. The airline unveiled this offer to usher in New Year and provide a chance to its customers to book cheap flights to their favorite destinations on the airline’s network.

The airline in a statement said that the new promotion under the MilleMiglia Program is dedicated to all its members so that their account continues to grow immediately this New Year 2013.

According to the airline, this is a great opportunity for the customers to book cheap tickets as all Alitalia flights operating from January 1 to March 31, 2013 would be awarded with at least 500 miles per segment. This would be valid on promotional fares as well.

However, the bonus would not be valid for accessing or renewing Alitalia Exclusive Club Membership. The bonus would also not be applicable to flights effected with an Award Ticket.
