Korean Air recently announced the upgrade of its in-flight meals on selected routes. The airline in a statement said that its customers booking first class tickets would now be offered a new-look menu on select international routes.
The airline disclosed that meals prepared from some of the highest-quality beef and chicken sourced from Jeju Island would be offered to the customers undertaking first class travel.
Korean Air has been a strong advocate of a creative menu and Korean-style meals, along with organic foods. The airline introduced the ingredients on April 1 last year.
Currently, the special menus are being offered on some of its international routes from Seoul Incheon. These routes include Shanghai, Paris, Sydney, Tokyo and New York.
According to Korean Air, the chickens are being sourced from Jedong Ranch. The chickens are fed on chemical-free products, grains cultivated in an environmentally way and underground water.
The cows used for the beef are raised on hay from the farm and antibiotic-free feed, and are famous for being juicy.
