Korean Air has signed a code sharing agreement with KLM Airlines. Under this agreement both the airlines with partner together and operate daily flights between Seoul and Amsterdam.
The main purpose of this codeshare was to provide customers traveling on multiple network airlines the comfort of providing single ticket booking options.
Operational from January 16, this codeshare agreement adds 4 weekly flights of KLM operated by B747-400 to 3 weekly Korean Air flights, increasing Korean Air's flight frequency to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport by seven flights per week.
At present Korean Air has signed code sharing agreements with 28 airlines across the world. They have also partnered with Delta Airlines and Air France, which are a part of SkyTeam.
