Singapore Airlines recently announced it is expanding its existing codeshare agreement with Virgin America. The airline in a statement said that it has now included a frequent flyer partnership under the codeshare pact.
The airline said that the frequent flyer partnership would allow the members holding loyalty programs of both the carriers to redeem points or miles for travel on either of the airlines.
The frequent flyer partnership is also aimed at allowing the savvy travelers to book travel rewards across the two airlines’ combined network.
A spokesman of Virgin America said that the customers would be offered opportunity to book cheap flights.
To celebrate the launch of frequent flyer partnership, the airline is offering flight deals to its customers prompting them to buy cheap tickets.
The airline stated that one Elevate member can take the best advantage of this chance to win two round-trip Economy Class tickets on Singapore Airlines on the routes of their choice, including San Francisco-Hong Kong, San Francisco-Seoul or Los Angeles-Tokyo.
