Air China customers booking air tickets on North American routes will get chance to savor new gourmet food soon onboard their flights. The airline recently conducted an onboard food tasting for its North American flights on March 8, 2013.
The airline has taken this initiative to enhance the flying experience of its customers traveling to North American destinations.
The onboard food tasting was held on a North American flight which saw the participation of gastronomic experts and several passengers. The airline served dozens of Western and Chinese dishes during onboard food tasting session and sought comments and suggestions.
Air China in a statement said that it wants to make sure that it is able to cater to every palate in its First Class and Business Class on select North American routes from Beijing. These routes include New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The airline stated that the dishes would be reflected to the menus onboard during different seasons.
