Start the month of May with a cup of hot tea or several cups; the Tea Lovers Festival from May 3rd to 28th is sure to boost your spirits with this delightful beverage. Culture lovers will enjoy the Koroneburg Old World Festival from May 11th to June 16th; this celebration of the Renaissance period includes great food along with fun and contests. Enjoy the Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from May 8th with fresh food, music and entertainment; close on heel is the Strawberry Festival from May 24th to 27th with plenty of rides and contests. The LA Asian Pacific Film Festival from May 2nd to 12th is a big event with a sizable audience.

Expect June to be rocking with the Gay Pride Parade from June 7th to 9th as well as the fabulous Halloween Costume Carnaval in West Hollywood where you can check out the latest trends in horror costumes. Jazz fans will love the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl on June 15th and 16th. On June 9th, the Annual LA River Ride from Griffith Park offers a day full of fun, energetic biking, music and food for families and individuals. The Jubilee Music & Arts Festival on June 7th and 8th is sure to dazzle with its interesting list of performers; enjoy stand-up comics, lovely music, superb crafts and delectable food. Watch artists create wonders on the street with chalk at the Pasadena Chalk Festival on June 15th and 16th and watch it all get washed away later.
