Southwest Airlines has decided to operate cheap flights to Memphis. In an announcement made today, the airline said they will begin their operations to and from Memphis from November 3 this year.
Southwest will be connecting Memphis to five destinations across the country. The airline is planning to operate nonstop flights from Memphis to Baltimore, Chicago, Tampa, Orlando and Houston. The maiden flight will be scheduled from Houston’s Hobby Airport to Memphis.
Tickets are up for grabs for passengers as the airline has decided to offer an inaugural price. Passengers can now book their Memphis flights as low as $78. With this new service, cost of air travel to Memphis is expected to reduce considerably.
