With an aim to expand its reach in the Northern American region, Qatar Airways has made addition in its code share agreement with American Airlines. In a recent announcement, Qatar announced to have doubled up its codeshare service with American Airlines.
Qatar will now be covering 32 additional routes operated by American Eagle and American Airlines. With this c Qatar Airways under its umbrella will not be able to sell air ticket to 64 routes in all. All but five routes added as per the new agreement operate out of Chicago O'Hare Airport. Three routes operate out of Houston Airport and two out of New York.
Qatar has also signed code sharing pact with JetBlue. Under this agreement Qatar will be covering 24 domestic routes including Puerto Rico operated by JetBlue. 23 of the new routes operate out of New York JFK airport and the last operates out of Washington DC.
