Based in Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines is also the only Chinese carrier to operate a fleet of five A380 superjumbo aircrafts. After calling of talks with Air China, the Guangzhou-based China Southern Airlines has now decided to operate Airbus A380 aircrafts between Guangzhou and Sydney beginning from the latter half of 2013.

China Southern Airlines also operates flights between Guangzhou and Los Angeles as well as on other domestic routes.

The airline is expecting to take delivery of the first of its Boeing 787 aircraft as early as late May this year.
