Philippine Airlines recently announced it is seeking the services of a new in-flight entertainment provider to offer state-of-the-art entertainment to the customers booking business class flights or traveling in economy class.
The airline in a statement said that it has selected IFE Services as the new in-flight entertainment provider to offer entertainment to the customers traveling in business class and economy class on trans-Pacific flights.
Under the agreement, the IFE Services would provide content for all mainscreen, personal TV and audio video on-demand (AVOD) systems that are currently installed across Philippine Airlines’ fleet.
The content package to be offered to the customers include TV shows and audio, Filipino films, and latest release and classic Hollywood movies.
The customers purchasing business class tickets or undertaking travel in economy class would also be provided with iPads on trans-Pacific flights. Each iPad will feature casual games, music albums, TV shows, regularly updated package of Hollywood, classic and international movies, as well as Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay magazine.
