Alaskan travelers are now in for good times as various carriers are vying with each other to offer cheap flights to domestic destinations.
Media reports said that JetBlue Airways, Icelandair and Frontier Airlines are currently into stiff competition to attract Alaskan passengers to fly with them. Other carriers like Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and Virgin America are also expected to join in the race to lure travelers from Alaska to their side.
JetBlue Airways is offering the customers opportunity to book cheap tickets between Anchorage and Seattle at $87 one-way. The fare on the airline’s daily red-eye flight is valid for travel from June 12-30, 2013. However, the Northbound fares from Seattle to Anchorage are being offered at $119 one-way. Those planning to book roundtrip flights are being offered cheap tickets at $206.
Icelandair has also announced a special $100 discount off “over the top” airfares from Anchorage to Reykjavik. The tickets can be booked until June 20, 2013. Similarly, Frontier Airlines has also announced flight deals for travel between Anchorage and Denver. The airline is offering roundtrip fares at $360.
