Latin American travelers booking air tickets on different carriers operating out of Latin America shouldn’t confuse any more.
Media reports recently said that four airlines based in Latin America have combined and would now be flying under one single brand. The move of the airlines is aimed at further bolstering their market presence in Latin America.
The reports said that Avianca, Tampa Cargo, Aerogal and TACA Airlines have joined hands and would be operating under Avianca Holdings S.A. under Avianca as a commercial name.
With the combined services under Avianca, the name and branding would now be placed across all the 160 aircrafts, marketing and all the customer service points in the Americas and Europe.
The move of the four carriers has been described as a landmark decision and an important milestone in the aviation history in Latin America as well as that of Avianca.
