China Southern Airlines recently announced it will upgrade its flights on Sydney and Melbourne routes. The airline has indicated that it will be introducing a new Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the two routes.
China Southern Airlines in a statement said that the passengers booking business class flights to Sydney and Melbourne would be offered lie-flat beds on the new Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The new seats will make debut on the morning Sydney-Guangzhou CZ326 service starting from July 11, 2013. The airline, however, said that the new lie-flat beds are expected to be appreciated most by the passengers boarding the overnight CZ325 return flight.
China Southern Airlines is already providing lie-flat beds in its business class cabins on flights from Brisbane and Perth. The airline has so far been offering angled lie-flat design on Sydney and Melbourne routes.
The airline will upgrade its daily Guangzhou-Melbourne service and introduce an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with new lie-flat beds by the end of October this year.
