Passengers booking airline tickets for travel between Manchester and Orlando on Virgin Atlantic Airways have good news. The airline recently announced it will be deploying a Boeing 747 aircraft to operate all the 11 of its weekly flights on Manchester-Orlando route during summer 2014.
Virgin Atlantic Airways in a statement said that it would replace the current 314-seat Airbus A330 aircraft with a 455-seat Boeing 747 aircraft to operate all of the 11 weekly flights on this route. The airline had so far been operating seven of its 11 weekly flights on Manchester-Orlando route with the help of Airbus A330 aircraft.
By operating all of its 11 flights with deploying Boeing 747 aircraft, Virgin Atlantic Airways will now be able to carry up to 10,000 passengers every week from Manchester. There would therefore be an extra 2,000 seats, or a 25 percent increase, on this year.
