Greater Branson residents would now get cheap airfares and enhanced flight options by Frontier Airlines. This fall, the airline will be offering additional nonstop flights to Branson from Denver International Airport.
The airline’s enhanced frequencies to Branson represents 130 percent increase in service in 2013 as compared to the airline’s inaugural launch in April 2010.
Frontier Airlines offered a capacity of 33,682 seats on its nonstop Denver-Branson service between April 2010 and December 2010.
Over the years, the airline has consistently grown its capacity reaching to its expected current level of 77,556 seats.
According to the airline, it sold 27,876 seats in 2012 (September-December). However, this number is expected to grow to 39,468 seats in 2013, thus representing a 42 percent increase in the fall schedule.
Daniel Shurz, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President – Commercial, said that they are delighted to provide expanded service to those residing in the greater Branson area. He said that the customers would now have increased travel options when buying plane tickets to Denver or connecting to the west.
