Air France will be soon enhancing in-flight entertainment services for its customers on long-haul routes this summer. Now as soon as the customers board their Air France flights or arrive at their destinations, they would get an opportunity to enjoy the full in-flight entertainment service.
The airline in a statement said that the new offer would enable the customers to enjoy an additional hour of in-flight entertainment on average, independently of the take-off, landing and taxiing phases.
Air France has made this system available on its 19 long-haul flights effective from July 1, 2013. The aircrafts equipped with the new in-flight entertainment system include those on the entire Airbus A380 fleet and certain Boeing 777-300 and 747-400 aircrafts. The airline is planning to equip all its long-haul aircrafts with this new system.
The airline will be increasing the number of movies on offer in World Cinema section from 14 up to 40 movies in all cabin classes by August 2013.
