Copa Airlines introduces new technology for passenger interaction

Passengers booking Copa Airlines flights will now find it more convenient to interact with the airline than ever before. Copa Airlines recently announced it has selected NCR software-driven technology to enable seamless, omni-channel interactions between the passengers and airline. The technology has been procured from NCR Corporation, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies.

The launch of free NCR-developed iPhone app by Copa Airlines is allowing users to search the airline’s flight schedules, check flight status, check-in for flights and download mobile boarding passes. Passengers are finding this technology much easier and of great convenience.

According to the airline, electronic boarding passes are delivered directly to the mobile phones of the passengers whenever the app is used for check-in. This saves time for the passengers allowing them to directly proceed to the security and avoid check-in counter.

Copa Airlines has also indicated that it will use NCR APTRA eMarketing platform to email boarding passes to the travelers who opt to get their boarding passes delivered in this way.
