Korean Air launching Guilin-Busan charter flights from December 31

South Korea’s largest state-owned airline Korean Air has revealed its plan to launch charter flights to Busan from Guilin beginning December 31, 2011. The airline will initially operate twice-weekly flights, every Tuesday and Saturday.
The airline will deploy Boeing 737-900 to operate Guilin-Busan charter flights. As per flight schedule, flights to Busan will depart Guilin at 22.00 and return from Busan at 02.10 the next day.
The charter flights were scheduled to have started much earlier, but had to be postponed on several occasions due to adverse external factors.
Korean Air has decided to operate charter flights on Guilin-Busan route to strengthen tourism in the region as well as actively cultivate the aviation market leading to the opening of scheduled flights to Busan from Guilin in future.
