Porter Airlines announces new interline agreement with South African Airways
Canada’s low cost carrier Porter Airlines recently announced it has entered into a new interline agreement with South African Airways.
The agreement will enable customers booking Porter Airlines flights tickets to conveniently connect to South Africa from Canada.
The airline in a statement said that the new interline agreement has come as a boon and opened up connection opportunities for customers booking Porter Airlines flights and traveling between Canada and West and Johannesburg.
The interline agreement between the two carriers became effective from September 17, 2012. According to the airline, the tickets have been put up on sale and now available for purchase.
Porter Airlines currently operates flights services between Toronto City Airport and Washington D.C. (Dulles) opening up several destinations in Canada for South African Airways customers. The pact between the two carriers also offers great opportunity for the South African travelers to travel to Canadian cities, including Quebec City, Timmins, Sudbury, Montreal, Ottawa, and others in the airline’s network.
