The airline will also be increasing its frequencies to Miami as well. Airbelin will now be operating five flights from Berlin-Tegel to Miami per week, instead of the originally planned thrice weekly service. The two destinations will be served with year round flights for the first time this year from mid-April. The airline will be deploying an Airbus A330-200 aircraft to serve the route. The outbound flight will depart from Berlin at 9:25 am and arrive in Miami at 13:55 hour local time. The departures would be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. However, on Thursdays and Sundays the flights will depart from Berlin at 15:20 hour and reach Miami at 19:50 hour local time.

Apart from New York and Miami, Airberlin has also announced it will be launching flights to two new destinations in the United States as well.
