All Nippon Airways partners with Hilton for innovative lounges

Japan’s second-largest carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) has entered into partnership with leading global hospitality company Hilton Worldwide aimed at introducing state-of-the-art innovative airport lounges and enhanced in-flight services.

A spokesperson of All Nippon Airways in a statement said that the initial phase of the alliance will be operational between June 1 and August 31, 2015. The partnership will see the launch of “Experience More” initiative which will see both the Japanese and international travelers enjoying the renowned Hilton hospitality when they choose to fly through the Tokyo Narita or Haneda business class lounges of ANA, or traveling on business class flights to Honolulu from Tokyo.

The Hawaiian-focused “Experience More” partnership of both the companies will last until 2017. The collaboration will be implemented into three phases. Media reports said that Hawaii has been selected as the first destination for the implementation of “Experience More” program because it is hugely popular holiday destination for the Japanese and the promotional period runs through the peak summer season travel period.

Toshitaka Watanabe, All Nippon Airways’ Senior Vice President of CS and Products Services, said, “The Japanese travelers have always considered Hawaii to be a favorite destination. The leisure trips have been most sought after for our customers even before boarding their flights. The airline had in December 2014 enhanced its service offerings on the Honolulu routes and another flight between Tokyo Narita and Honolulu is being added in July 2015. The partnership with Hilton will be a boost for the customers as it will elevate their excitement both on the ground and in the air. With an enjoyable experience, the customers will be prompted to book their flights to Hawaii again with All Nippon Airways.”
