American Airlines to fly to Beijing from Dallas/Fort Worth

American Airlines is planning to offer a new nonstop service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to the Chinese capital city, Beijing. If all goes as per schedule then it will commence this service from May 7, 2015.

Flights to Beijing Capital International Airport will be AA’s third nonstop service from DFW to China in just a span of 12 months. It started offering flights to Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport in June this year.

Andrew Nocella, CMO for American Airlines said, by offering this new Beijing service we have accomplished an important milepost in the evolution of our Asian network. With this addition we now offer nonstop flights to five Asian cities namely Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, Hong Kong and the latest Beijing. He further said that the three connections from DFW to China, has upgraded Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to one of the primary hubs from where connecting flights to not just US cities and Asia can be taken, but can be taken to Central America, South America and Mexico as well.

The new service will be operated using a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Passengers booking seats on this flight will be offered with new retrofitted seats in economy and business class, in-seat entertainment and Wi-Fi enabled flight, matching international standards. DFW-PEK service will compliment AA’s current service from Chicago to Beijing.

AA plans to depart from DFW Airport at 1030 hours and arrive in Beijing Airport at 1345 hours. Return flight will depart from Beijing at 1545 hours and arrive in DFW at 1630 hours. Service on this route will be a joint venture between AA and its oneworld alliance partner Japan Airlines.
