Boutique hotels becoming a latest trend in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Valley has in recent times seen the mushrooming of a number of boutique hotels and even more such hotels are on their way soon. Media reports quoting a realtor said that the way in which the boutique hotels are coming up in large numbers could well be the beginning of a new trend.

The reports said that the boutique hotels market in Las Vegas is presently undeserved and there are great possibilities of such hotels. Even big hotel chains like Hilton and Marriott have also realized the potential in this area and want to be a part of the growth factor. The reports further indicated that during the past 10 to 15 years, there has been a tremendous possibility of tapping in the viable boutique hotel segment and leading hotel brands are fast moving in to fill the gap.

In April 2014, The Cromwell became the latest boutique hotel to be opened in Las Vegas. It is situated on the corner of East Flamingo Road and the Strip. A top official of this newly-opened hotel remarked that it’s not surprising that boutique hotels are gradually finding their place in the Las Vegas Valley. So far big U.S. cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York have seen the opening of boutique and lifestyle hotels in large numbers and this trend in now inevitably fast catching up with Las Vegas as well.

Hotel industry experts say that with more people now coming to downtown Las Vegas to explore a different side of the city, the growth in boutique hotels is going to be quite strong in the years to come.
