The airline has hired two world renowned German twin chefs, Thomas and Mathias Suhrin, to revamp menus for international flights. JAL is rolling out a new range of wines and champagnes at the end of January through the beginning of February. Selected by Fumiko Arisaka, renowned wine journalist, the new wine list has been carefully paired with JAL’s existing menus, and includes the famous Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale Brut champagne. Flight attendants on Japan Airlines flights are qualified sommeliers and can advise travelers on available offerings.

Mid-year, Virgin Australia plans to upgrade their current entertainment system to a wifi-based in-flight system on iPads.
