Eva Air bags Commonwealth Magazine's 2012 Golden Service Award
Taiwan’s leading carrier Eva Air, which offers flights to several international destinations, recently emerged as one of the world’s premier international airlines.
The airline recently bagged the coveted Commonwealth Magazine's 2012 Golden Service Award, defeating Singapore Airlines by 6.84 points.
Eva Air got 85.59 points out of 100 catapulting it to the top spot for best service in the airline category during the online survey conducted by renowned New York-based Travel & Leisure magazine in 2011.
Eva Air had the highest rankings in five out of seven indicators, which helped the airline in bagging this prestigious award. These categories included service attitude, efficiency, reputation, atmosphere and customer satisfaction. The 2011 Travel & Leisure survey has ranked the airline at number 10.
With 78.75 points Singapore Airlines emerged second. China Airlines emerged third with 76.3 points. Japan Airlines ranked fourth (69.41 points), while Cathay Pacific Airways ranked fifth (69.22 points).
