EVA Air makes flying fun with its Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet

Taiwan’s leading carrier EVA Air wants to bring more happiness to its customers by making flying fun. The airline has launched its Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet for its customers traveling across the Midwest from Chicago. A cheerfully painted plane is now being used by the airline for operating three additional flights, apart from the existing four being currently operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts in standard livery, thus upgrading Chicago service to daily throughout the peak summer season.

EVA Air has partnered with Sanrio for creating the Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet prominently displaying a number of colorful characters, which have been painted across the entire plane’s length. The Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala have been painted at the nose. They present a feeling as though flying through the clouds along with their teddy bears. The wing has also been exquisitely painted with Hello Kitty and My Melody sailing along on stars comfortably.

EVA Air is offering flexible travel options to its customers traveling from Chicago and across the Midwest to Mainland China, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia. The airline will be offering 88 flights services to Taipei from its eight major North American gateways with convenient one-stop connection to every major Asian city by 2017 end.

Currently, EVA Air Flight BR55 makes its departure from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at 12:30 am and reaches Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport at 4:30 am next day. The return Flight BR56 departs from Taipei at 7:50 pm and arrives in Chicago at 9:10 same evening. The airline’s Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet is flown from Chicago on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while it departs from Taipei on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Media reports said that EVA Air is presently flying six specially painted aircraft to various destinations within Asia, and on long-haul international routes to Paris and Chicago. In addition to the newly painted Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet, each of the six aircrafts comes with its own design and theme, which includes Friendship Bows, Bad Badtz-Maru Travel Fun, Comfort Flight, Celebration Flight, Joyful Dream and Hand-in-Hand Jets.
