Cantillon Brewery
The 100-year-old Cantillon Brewery is presently the only active brewery in the city of Brussels. If you have embarked on beer tourism, this is the perfect place to start your tour. The Cantillon Brewery welcomes visitors in large numbers. To keep its brewing traditions alive and offer insight, the brewery opened its doors for the public in 1978 and has since established the “Brussels Gueuze Museum”. The brewery is renowned for producing Cantillon beers such as Iris, Framboise, Faro, Lambic, Kriek and Gueze. The people are also offered guided tours to the Cantillon Brewery and the brewing sessions are open for public viewing twice every year. The brewery is however closed on Sundays and public holidays. Individual visits continue to take place throughout the day. The guided tours for groups can be organized in English, Dutch and French, and should be booked in advance.

Delirium Bar
The Delirium Bar is the most visited in Brussels and is acclaimed for its extensive and beer selection. It is great favorites with the people and is often called the “King of Bars” in Brussels. The bar can be easily reached within few minutes from the famous Grand Place in the city. The Delirium Bar holds the distinction of gaining entry in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2004 for offering more than 2,004 different kinds of beer on their menu. The bar has an extensive list of beer selection from over 75 different countries across the world. The beers sold here in fact represent almost every continent in the world except Antartica. The beers produced by popular brands such as De Struise, De Dolle and Abbaye des Rocs are a great favorites among the visitors here.

A la Mort Subite
The A la Mort Subite bar is renowned for its best ambience. This lively bar is quite popular with the local Belgians and is admired for its antique décor, great atmosphere and fantastic beers. The A la Mort Subite is famous for its extensive selection of abbey beers, trappists, bottled and draught beer. You will find popular Belgian brands as well as imported varieties. The specialty of the A la Mort Subite bar is its Lambic beers. So don’t forget to try a bottle of Framboise, Kriek or Oude Gueze.
