Hawaiian Airlines to operate A330 on Auckland-Honolulu route, offer cheap flights
Hawaiian Airlines recently announced it is upgrading its flights services on Auckland-Honolulu route keeping in view a strong demand from New Zealand travelers.
The airline in a statement said that it will now launch a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft to operate flights between Honolulu and Auckland. The airline has until now been using the smaller Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts to operate flights on this route.
Hawaiian Airlines will start operating the new flights on Auckland-Honolulu route from March 14, 2013. The flights will be operated thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. According to the airline, the new flights have evoked a strong response from the travelers in New Zealand. The airline has reported strong bookings to both the U.S. mainland and Hawaii Islands.
To mark the occasion, Hawaiian Airlines has announced special fares to Hawaii and the U.S. mainland from Auckland. The airline is offering cheap tickets to Honolulu starting from $909.57* round-trip.
