Hyatt Centric to add three hotels in important U.S. cities

Hyatt Centric brand, which is a subsidiary of Hyatt Hotels Corp., has announced it would be adding three hotels within its portfolio, thus signaling the new brand’s growth. The three cities where one each hotel is to be located include New Orleans, New York and Key West. According to media reports, the hotels would be named Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa, Hyatt Centric Times Square New York and Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans. These hotels would be catering to the upper-upscale segment customers.

Hyatt Centric Times Square New York is likely to be re-branded by October end this year. The new hotel would be situated right around the corner from Broadway and Times Square. The hotel would be offering a total of 487 ultra luxurious guestrooms that would be apartment-style. Each room would be featuring floor-to-ceiling windows offering awesome views of New York City’s skyline. The amenities offered here include a spa, a fitness center, business center, restaurant and a rooftop bar.

The former Hyatt French Quarter New Orleans after being re-branded in September this year would be known as Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans. As the name signifies, the hotel is situated right in the center of the French Quarter. Some of the signature attractions that can be accessed while staying here include Royal Street, House of Blue, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and jazz clubs. A total of 254 residential-style guestrooms would be offered to the guests planning to stay here. Among the many amenities available here include outdoor and indoor meeting space spanning in an area of more than 10,660 square feet, two restaurants and a hotel bar.

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is situated in the historic Old Town in Key West, near the Gulf of Mexico. This waterfront hotel, which will be offering a total of 118 guestrooms with each having a private balcony, is likely to be re-branded in early November this year. Among other amenities to be offered by the hotel include a 24-hour fitness center and a spa.

Hyatt Hotels Corp. launched its Hyatt Centric brand in 2015. The newly created brand is now expanding its reach. The expansion in early 2016 includes the launch of two international hotels and re-branding of three U.S. hotels. The re-branded hotels are situated in Houston, Park City and Long Beach. Other hotels of this brand in the U.S. can be found in Miami, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Chicago.
