New Hotel opening for visitors to Santa Monica this summer

Santa Monica, Southern California’s beachside city, is gearing to welcome visitors with the opening of new hotels this summer. Apart from its pleasant weather, world-class alfresco dining and beach activities, the visitors to this quintessential beachfront city will also be able to enjoy their stay at some of the newly-opened or revamped hotels.

The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows recently inaugurated its brand new Bungalow One. This customized 3-bedroom suite has come up with a million dollar investment. Michael Berman, famous Los Angeles-based interior designer, played a crucial role in redesigning this exquisite 3-bedroom suite, which includes a 1,000-square-foot private patio and offering private access to Miramar gardens and pools. The suite aptly portrays the elegant bungalow-style beach house that characterizes the beautiful Santa Monica.

The Hotel Casa del Mar is also undertaking a major revamp this summer. The hotel’s grand entryway, lounge and library are being redesigned. The hotel has hired celebrated designer Michael S. Smith for the purpose. The revamp includes installation of a dazzling custom-made 8-feet high iron chandelier featuring hand-blow glass and beading, stunning antique fumed oak wood floors in the entryway, installing custom lighting fixtures made of blown glass and forged iron throughout the lounge, and adding four white and blue striped cabanas in the lobby lounge aimed at offering visitors and intimate place for gathering.

The famed Veranda of the Georgian Hotel is also being given a new look this summer. This will be done while taking extra care to maintain the glamorous art deco allure which has continued to remain at the core of Santa Monica’s vintage glamour for over 80 years now. According to Georgian Hotel authorities, new accordion glass windows, lighting, seating, flooring and color palate will adorn the new-look hotel by early September this year. The revamp also promises to make the Veranda as a preferred destination for locals as well as other travelers.
