Odyssey to introduce all business class service to New York

There is good news for business class travelers of New York; Odyssey Airlines is going to launch all business class flights in 2016. The airline will operate between New York and London City airport. The service will be similar to private jet-style flights for passengers to enjoy.

The flights on New York and London route will be served by Bombardier CS100 aircraft providing a total of 40 business class seats. One of the most prominent features of the new airline as told by Adam Scott, CEO of Odyssey Airline, is that the airline will have the longest available fully flat beds in business class category across the globe. With such spacious and comfortable seats travelers will get a feeling similar to the one experienced while flying in a private jet.

The airline as of now has not mentioned anything about the name of New York airport it will be flying too, however, in days to come in time will make this information public. If everything goes as per plan and functions properly then it also plans to offer similar king of service to the Middle East, Canada, Europe, and other American cities. Further details about this expansion plan will be announced by Odyssey soon.

The proposal to launch Odyssey’s all-premium class service came after Maxjet, Eos, and Silverjet discontinued providing similar services. These transatlantic airlines staggered after the economic crisis that came on their way. At present only British Airways is providing all business class service between New York and London City. This flight has a single halt in Shannon for refueling and for the travelers to clear their custom checks. On the contrary Odyssey Airlines will fly to their destination without any stoppages.

In the coming ten years other airline companies desire to introduce their business supersonic flights between New York and London City. It is predicted that by the end of 2022, with the help of such supersonic flights, the journey between these destinations will be completed in within an hour.

The company till now has acquired £5 million as funds and introduced equity people funding program using Crowdcube which is a quick starter funding technique. Till now, Odyssey obtained a contribution of extra £414,000 from this funding technique. The company will raise an added £60 million of finance in 2015.
