Singapore Airlines to increase frequency to Cape Town

Singapore Airlines recently announced that it will increase its frequency of flights to Cape Town from Singapore.
The airline said that it will introduce an additional weekly flight from October 30, 2011. With the addition of a weekly flight, the total number of flights to Cape Town will reach to four on a weekly basis.
The new additional flight will be operated every Tuesday. By including additional flight, Singapore Airlines will now operate flights from Cape Town, via Johannesburg, to Singapore every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The airline will continue to operate as usual seven flights per week from Johannesburg to Singapore.
Singapore Airlines said that the additional flight will offer the passengers more flight options from Cape Town to Singapore, Australia, South East Asia, New Zealand and countries in North Asia.

Departure: 11.40 hours – Arrival: 07.05 hours next day
Singapore-Cape Town
Departure: 02.35 hours – Arrival: 10.25 hours
