Virgin Australia improves linen service in business class

Virgin Australia is providing exclusive business class service to passengers traveling to Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi. The new service allows passengers to enjoy improved linen and a mattress during their flight.

The airline’s fleet comprising of Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft will now have memory foam mattress. It has highly relaxing and pressure relieving material providing optimum comfort to body. The sizes of both the pillows and the duvet have been increased by 20%. They are made from high grade cotton and are styled to complement the cabin interiors. This will make the journey more pleasurable and comfortable for passengers.

The improved service follows the airline’s plan to renovate its Boeing 777 aircraft launched in 2012. This service is quite similar to the sleep services introduced by Qantas for business class travelers in the same year.

Virgin Australia operates Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on behalf of Etihad Airways on routes from Sydney to Abu Dhabi; from Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane to Los Angeles; and from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur.

Virgin Australia recently made it to top-20 list in Skytrax. The airline ranked 15 in the 2014 Worlds Best Airlines award held in New York on July 15, 2014. Virgin Australia also got the second spot in the Australia and Pacific region list.
