Aeromexico daily flights to Costa Rica and Bogota soon

Mexico’s flag carrier Aeromexico recently announced that it will be starting daily flights to Costa Rica from Mexico City starting March 15, 2012. The airline is starting the flights here as part of its expansion in Latin America.

Aeromexico flights to Bogota in Colombia are also scheduled to start from March 9, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that it will deploy a 134-seat Boeing 737 to operate its flights between Mexico City and San Jose’s Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.

The direct flights between Mexico and Costa Rica are expected to fill the vacuum created by the failure of the Mexican carrier Mexicana. 

Aeromexico is the national carrier of Mexico, and is based in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City.  The airline currently operates domestic as well as international flights to North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
