Aeromexico declares June 2012 operational results

Mexico’s national flag carrier Aeromexico recently announced its operational results for June this year. The airline sounded upbeat at the positive outcome.

The airline stated that its passenger traffic increased 7 percent y-o-y in June. The airline’s passenger traffic is measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers or RPKs.

According to the airline, its capacity increased 9.5 percent. The airline measures its capacity in Available Seat Kilometers or ASKs. The airline’s load factor for June 2012 was 76.8 percent because of the growth in its passenger traffic and capacity.

Aeromexico flights carried 1,239,000 passengers in June this year, representing 4.1 y-o-y growth for the month. The airline also stated that its international passenger traffic increased 8.2 percent, while its domestic passenger traffic increased 2.7 percent.

Meanwhile, Aeromexico recently moved to Miami International Airport’s South Terminal, Concourse H, and started flight operations out of here and offering various facilities to its customers.
