Aeromexico direct Mexico City-Caracas flights launched

Aeromexico recently launched its direct flights to Caracas from Mexico City. The airline had earlier this year announced that it will be introducing a Mexico City-Caracas route aimed at expanding its international network. With the introduction of flights to Caracas, Aeromexico is now operating flight services to 10 destinations in Latin America.

The airline disclosed that it will operate the flights on the new Mexico City-Caracas route with the help of the latest Boeing 737 aircraft. Aeromexico is currently offering flight connections to more than 40 cities in Mexico, 3 in Europe, 15 in the US and Canada, and 2 in Asia.

Meanwhile, in September this year Aeromexico had launched “Green” flights to San Jose from Mexico City. The flight was introduced as a part of its Vuelos Verdes (Green Flights) program. The Green flights are being operated with the help of Next Gen Boeing 737s using biofuel and jet fuel mixture, which was provided by Airports and Auxiliary Services.

The Costa Rica flights, which will be operated on a weekly basis, will use 85% of fossil jet fuel and 15% biofuel.
