Aeromexico Jan-Nov passenger traffic increases 3.8 percent

Mexico’s national flag carrier Aeromexico recently announced its operational results for January-November period of 2012. The airline was upbeat at its outcome and said that Aeromexico flights have done well during the period.

The airline in a statement said that Aeromexico flights were successful in transporting 13 million 530 thousand passengers during the first eleven months of 2012. The airline said that its passenger traffic increased 3.8 percent y-o-y.

According to Aeromexico, the airline’s international passenger traffic increased by 5.5 percent, while its domestic passenger traffic increased 3.1 percent.

The airline disclosed that it carried 1 million 242 thousand passengers in November 2012, representing 0.6 percent y-o-y growth as compared to the same month in 2011. The airline further stated that its international passenger traffic increased 1.2 percent in November this year, while its domestic passenger traffic increased 0.4 percent y-o-y as compared to the same month last year.
