Aeromexico receives first Dreamliner, takes maiden flight

All anticipations were put to rest recently as the mighty Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was delivered to Aeromexico, the flagship carrier of Mexico. It was a moment of pride and joy for all the employees of the airline who have been waiting anxiously to glimpse at one of the most modern aircrafts of contemporary times.

Dreamliner’s addition to Aeromexico fleet is nothing less than a milestone. The management and the staff had been awaiting its arrival with eagerness. Its entry into the airline’s Mexico City headquarter was greeted with elation and gratitude.

The aircraft took off on its maiden journey soon after its arrival at Aeromexico. The flight between Mexico City and Everett’s Paine Field departed and arrived back in glory.

Andres Conesa, Chief Executive Officer at Aeromexico said that the arrival of Aeromexico’s first Boeing Dreamliner is a landmark in the history of Mexico’s aviation sector.

The carrier has placed order for eight more 787-8s. It expects to use the services of another ten 787-9s in the near future.
