Aeromexico sign codeshare agreement with TAM Airlines

Mexico’s flag carrier Aeromexico recently signed a codeshare agreement with the leading Brazilian carrier TAM Airlines.
The codeshare pact is aimed at operating Aeromexico flights between Mexico City and Saõ Paulo, as well as to various domestic destinations in both the countries, Mexico and Brazil.

Aeromexico is a statement said that the codeshare agreement will provide passengers booking Aeromexico flights tickets and traveling from Mexico City International Airport to Saõ Paulo a chance to connect to Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Florianopolis, Curitiba, Recife and Porto Alegre.

Similarly, the codeshare pact will also provide Brazilian travelers an opportunity to connect to the Mexican cities of Acapulco, Leon, Ciudad Obregon, Cancun, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Poza Rica, Los Cabos and Veracruz.

Both the carriers have started operating codeshare flights under the recently signed agreement which took effect from April 23, 2012.

Passengers from San Antonio will be able to take the advantage of connecting flights to Brazil since Aeromexico offers flights between San Antonio International Airport and Mexico City International Airport.
