Air France upgrading cabins on Chicago-Paris route

Air France has decided to make its customers traveling between Chicago and Paris happier than before. The airline is all set to offer a great flying experience to its customers with an entirely new cabin design with various upgrades in every class of service. The newly-designed cabins would be offered only on daily nonstop flights between Paris and Chicago being operated by the airline.

Air France in a statement said that the details about the new changes in first class and business class cabins would not be revealed now. The airline is planning to announce the new changes in these classes only after the spring of 2014.

Air France, however, provided details about the changes made in the new Economy Class. The airline said that the Economy Class cabin would feature a new seat with an additional inch of legroom. A revamped headrest and a wider tray table would be prominently featured. Apart from this, each seat would also be equipped with a headphone holder and a power plug.

The airline further said that the seats in its premium economy cabin, which was first introduced in 2009, is also being upgraded and outfitted with an improved seat cushions and multi-position footrests. The upgraded cabin would also be offering a new entertainment system with high-definition programming and more than 1,000 hours of music, movies and TV on demand. An upgraded meal service with an additional hot entree selection, as well as candies and ice cream would also be offered to Air France customers.
